French brand ANGELL makes ebikes for BMW Mini

French bicycle brand ANGELL will start a five-year ebike cooperation with BMW's Mini brand, which includes design, development, manufacturing and distribution. All ebikes will be produced in SEB Group's French factory, which is also responsible for the production of ANGELL's own brand products.

With the BMW Group's growing focus on two-wheeled vehicles, the German company is pushing the electrification of its products and brands. The Mini brand plays an important role in this strategy, as BMW is using this Mini as the closest brand positioning in the group to city life.

The head of the Mini brand said: The success of the Mini electric vehicle confirms the brand's strategy to develop fully electric. In addition, Mini's focus on sustainability is attracting more and more customers.

In addition to the cooperation with BMW Group, ANGELL also plans to launch a new product every six months in the future. Currently, there are only two models in the brand's catalogue.

Now ANGELL is also actively expanding its distribution channels. By the end of 2023, ANGELL will establish a physical sales network of 35 retailers in France, Germany, the Benelux region, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom. These retailers have professional services and high-quality sales resources. Brand distribution partners will receive a share of the profits on all sales made in their stores and on the brand's website.
